The central theme throughout all of our projects and subprojects is our belief that 'feeling well' requires a number of things in a person's life to be supported - it not about health as only a medical issue. We work within a social model of health, this means it is equally important that someone has housing, childcare options and is not in poverty as whether or not they have access to primary or secondary health care services. Feeling well is generally based on a combination of these factors.
In addition to projects that we directly run, we also are a partner in dozens of joint working arrangements and initiatives with Sandwell MBC and other local, regional and national agencies to promote the holistic health of Tipton Sandwell and neighbouring areas.
