Murray Hall Community Trust (MHCT) is a voluntary organisation and registered charity and are one of the leading health and wellbeing charities in the Black Country and Birmingham and specifically Sandwell.

We are currently seeking to recruit a:

Sessional Children & Young People’s Worker for our Breaking Silence Service

Salary Scale 5: £10.20 ph. School Holidays – 40 hours per year (inclusive of planning time)

Fixed Term Contract to 14/02/2022


Breaking Silence aims to reduce the stigma of self-harm for YP/families and professionals through the delivery of awareness and early identification interventions.

The successful candidate will develop, plan, deliver, promote and monitor the impact of 5 interactive themed school holiday group activities per year for CYP aged 7 – 18 years of age identified with self-harm issues.

You will deliver group activities which will allow CYP anonymously to tell their stories, leading to the development of a range of resources promoting recovery, self-belief and peer support.

You will work with other Murray Hall Community Trust CTS teams to promote, engage, support and work Youth Champions.
