Following consultation with local young people it was identified that there was a need to create “real training and employment opportunities to support greater independence”.

Funded and supported by Big Lottery, we created and delivered a Digital Media Course specifically designed to support young people to:

  • Live a financially stable life
  • Be socially connected
  • Have a strong sense of self-esteem
  • Increase their confidence
  • Live independently as possible

We teamed up with Penn Hall School to work with 8 – 12 pupils, who had limited access to digital media opportunities, to embark on an exciting 4 week course that developed digital media skills such as Photography, Image Manipulation, VR and Graphic Design.

It was a fantastic course that enabled participants to learn a range skills, develop teamwork and unlock their potential.

We hope to run a similar course in the near future.

If you would be interested in having this course delivered at your school/organisation as an enrichment activity – please contact Daniel Lal at daniel.lal@murrayhall.co.uk
