Salary: £18,822 per annum
Location: The Bridge, St Marks Road, Tipton
Hours: 37 hours per week
Contract: Fixed term contract to 28th June 2023
The Sandwell Community Dementia Support Service (SCDSS) is a new service commissioned by Sandwell Metropolitan Council and the Black Country and West Birmingham Clinical Commissioning Group serving Sandwell Metropolitan Borough.
As the lead provider, we are working alongside eight other local organisations; Agewell CIC, Dementia Pathfinders CIC, West Bromwich African Caribbean Resource Centre, Murray Hall Community Trust, St Albans Community Association, BUDS, Age UK Sandwell and Alzheimer’s Society to provide this service across Sandwell Metropolitan Borough.
We are establishing a new team to work with existing town-based Dementia Advisors. Main duties of the Administrator & Monitoring Support Officer will include operation of administrative support systems including the maintenance and development of the services databases, collating data and producing monitoring and evaluation reports, have regular telephone contact with service users and organising and supporting activities and events were necessary.
The successful post holder will be an effective and empathetic communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to work independently as well as part of the wider team. Proven similar administrative experience is essential for this fast-paced role.
