JOHN BLEWITT – CHAIR OF TRUSTEES:

For many years I had “known about” Murray Hall, but it wasn’t until I helped to set up the Tipton Food in 2013 that I began to “KNOW” Murray Hall. Important work largely goes unnoticed by the wider community – but those who have received the care and compassion which we offer know us in a different way – in a life changing way.

I’ve been on the Board of Trustees since 2013 and it was a great privilege to be appointed Chair in 2016. It’s been a time defined by challenges, change and uncertainty but our Trustees and Management Team have worked tirelessly to still put community and people at the centre of what we do.

I spent most of my working life in a financial environment. I’m also a committed Christian and Methodist preacher. I have learned, over many years, to try and look at a person as a whole person – physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. My greatest pleasure is working alongside a team who are like-minded and, through Murray Hall, are able to bring positive changes to peoples’ lives.

VICKY POWELL – TRUSTEE:

Having been in a senior management position in a non-for profit organisation for many years, I would like to bring my business management skills and abilities as a Trustee to help Murray Hall Community Trust achieve its aims.

With ever changing financial strains on charitable organisations I feel it's hugely important to maintain support for this much needed local service; of which I have benefited from through my own families personal circumstances.
