Due to COVID 19, the Rowley & Oldbury Go Play team are currently unable to deliver  face to face sessions with young people aged 6-12yrs due to the Social Distancing measures in place, we want to ensure we keep you safe.

Please do not despair though, the team have been working hard and have put together Arts and Craft packs for the children and families living in these areas, each pack contains word searches; colouring pictures, masks, scratch art, coloured card, stickers and crayons.

Last week  the team delivered 134 Arts & Crafts and Educational packs to some of the most deprived communities in Sandwell, but mainly in Rowley and Oldbury.

In total to date we have distributed 296 packs to young people across Sandwell since 1st April 2020.

We are also actively working in partnership with and distributing packs to, ACTION FOR REFUGEES, SANDWELL C.O.G TEAMS, BRASSHOUSE COMMUNITY CENTRE and SAFE FAMILIES SANDWELL, all of whom have identified families in need.

This is some of the feedback we received:

“THANK YOU FOR THE EASTER PACK, PHEOBE LOVES IT!!!!!!! SHE IS SHARING IT WITH HER SISTER POPPY”.

“THANK YOU FOR THE WONDERFUL ITEMS DELIVERED. VERY MUCH APPRECIATED AS BEEN HOUSE BOUND DUE TO 1 SONS MEDICAL HEALTH AND NOT ABLE   TO GET ITEMS TO DO FOR THEM. DELIVERY WAS EXCELLENT AND VERY FRIENDLY”.
