Dementia Friendly Sandwell
Sandwell Council is working to make Sandwell a Dementia-Friendly Community where people living with dementia feel valued, supported and included.
A Dementia-Friendly Community understands dementia, reduces stigma, makes places and services accessible, supports independence, involves those with lived experience, and brings people together. Sandwell residents and council staff are encouraged to get involved as Dementia Champions or Ambassadors to help create a borough where everyone affected by dementia can live well.
