A Wonderful First Day at Our Unity Walk Charity Shop

After months of planning, dedication, and hard work from our incredible store manager Emma and our team of volunteers, we are thrilled to announce that our Unity Walk charity shop has officially opened its doors!
The day began with a heartfelt speech from our CEO, Manjula Patel, setting the tone for what this space truly represents: community, compassion, and hope. We were deeply moved by the overwhelming support shown by the local community, who joined us in celebrating this exciting new chapter.
We were also honoured to welcome Antonia Bance, Labour MP for Tipton, who came along to meet our fantastic team and show her support.
From friendly faces to great bargains, our first day was filled with warmth, joy, and a shared commitment to making a difference. Every purchase made in our shop goes directly towards supporting the well-being and mental health of young children, providing resources to the local community, and helping people live well with dementia—along with so much more.
We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who came down to support us on our first day. Your kindness ensures that our mission continues to grow, reaching even more people in need across Sandwell.
We look forward to welcoming you into the shop soon—whether you’re hunting for a treasure, donating items, or simply popping in for a chat.
