Community Buy Back Project in Tipton

Volunteers from Sandwell Council’s repairs and maintenance team along with two of their contractors – Dodd Group,  and Graham, decorated rooms and corridors, fitted new outside lighting and improved facilities in the assisted shower room.

Also joining in with the facelift were Johnstone Paints who donated 50 litres of paint; City Electrical Factors (Sutton Coldfield) who donated electrical materials and a TV for the entrance area, Mercia have installed a shutter to improve security at the building, Woodhull Roofing  supported by Alliance Scaffolding  are installing a new flat roof to a section of the building,  BAT have tarmacked sections of the car park and re lined it whilst Cubic FM Ltd have donated 64 work hours.

All the staff at Murray Hall would like to say how grateful we are to everyone involved for their contribution whether it was supplying materials and equipment or their time and professional expertise.

All of the works have been carried out to a very high standard and  everyone was courteous and polite, and mindful they were working in an environment where service users and visitors were in attendance. The improvements are very much appreciated and will enhance the comfort and enjoyment of our service users. Visitors have already commented how clean and fresh our communal area now looks.
