We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us last Thursday for our Black Country Day Event. The turnout was absolutely fantastic, and as always, your support means the world to us.

These moments of community, connection, and celebration wouldn’t be possible without you.

Thanks to your generosity, the money raised will help us continue bringing more events and activities to the local community throughout the year. Every pound makes a difference — and every smile reminded us why we do what we do.

We’d also like to give special recognition to some of the incredible people and organisations who made the day such a success:

  • Captain Dawn & Captain Glenn Roden – thank you for your support and for kindly donating an Asda voucher toward the event.

  • Lush Merry Hill – your generous and thoughtful donations were truly appreciated.

  • Alex and Punch & Judy – thank you for bringing so much joy and laughter to families!

  • Tesco Burnt Tree – your kind contribution helped bring the day together.

  • Pastor Steve Peach – your energy and entertainment were, as always, a highlight.

  • Everyone who donated a mystery bag – your creativity and generosity made the event extra fun.

  • Tipton Civic Society – thank you for your brilliant stand and ongoing community involvement.

  • Our incredible volunteers – we’re so grateful for your time, passion, and dedication.

  • The Fundraising Committee and the whole team at Murray Hall – your behind-the-scenes work is the reason events like this run so smoothly.

  • West Midlands Safari Park – thank you for the exciting ticket donation!

  • G. Simmons and Sons – your scratchings were a hit—thank you for your fantastic support.

Events like these are a true reflection of the spirit of our community. Thank you all for helping us make Black Country Day one to remember.
