Hours: | 37 hours per week |
Contract: | This post is funded by the West Midlands Combined Authority until 31st July 2026 |
We are recruiting a Senior Digital Skills Tutor to play a crucial role in the quality assurance and delivery of the WMCA Digital Divide project, aimed at reducing digital exclusion across the West Midlands. This position will focus on supporting residents to develop essential digital skills and confidence in using technology as well as support Digital Skills Tutors to maintain the standards of teaching and assessment required by the contract with guidance from the Business Development and Procurement Manager
Key tasks and responsibilities:
Deliver personalised digital skills training to digitally excluded residents
through one-to-one and small group sessions
Create and implement Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) for all learners
Support the achievement of project targets, particularly the 60% progression
rate to accredited learning
Track and report learner progress through the Individualised Learner Record
(ILR)
Work collaboratively with Adult Community Learning providers to facilitate
learner progression
Work with the delivery team to ensure that standards in teaching, learning,
and assessment are met including the surveying of participants to gauge the
quality of delivery
Maintain and develop high quality learning materials and resources for use
across the broken
