Volunteers’ Week 2020!

Volunteers’ Week takes place  this week (1st – 7th June 2020). We would therefore like to take this opportunity to both celebrate and say thank you for the amazing contribution our wonderful volunteers make in supporting the work of MHCT. We value our volunteers from Trustee Board level all the way through the organisation, we salute you all and are indebted to your passion and commitment…you are our essential workers.

As well as helping others, volunteering has been shown to improve volunteers’ well-being too. It’s human nature to feel good after helping someone out. Volunteering can also help you gain valuable new skills and experiences, and boost your confidence. Your role as a volunteer can also give you a sense of pride and identity and being part of a team. We have seen many of our volunteers go onto further education or secure paid employment. In return we can offer you training and peer mentoring, volunteering opportunities from admin to supporting children/families and communities, you can decide what you want to do and when.

If you would like to know more about our volunteering opportunities and want to make a worthwhile and positive difference to your local community, please contact us on: info@murrayhall.co.uk
